Sophia Englar and Yolanda Mott are sisters who have been playing the violin and cello together ever since they were little girls. Now with ten years experience performing for weddings, let Sophia and Yolanda put their musical expertise to work for you. The bright cheerful notes of the violin and warm romantic tones of the cello will blend together in perfect harmony to enhance the beauty of your special day.

Silverstring Duet will provide approximately 15 minutes of prelude while guests are being seated, bridesmaid's processional, bride’s processional, candle lighting, recessional of bride and groom, wedding party and postlude during dismissal of guests.

Yolanda Mott

Yolanda Mott was classically trained as a cellist in Camden, Maine. She has developed a professional style of her own; a blend of the classical elements with a more independent improvisation in a range of musical genres. Since moving to the Lancaster area she has performed with some stellar musicians at venues including the Lancaster Country Club, Rosa Rosa Restaurante Italiano, Drumore Estates, and Moon Dancer Winery. She has a passion for writing and recording music, and also enjoys teaching private cello lessons.

Abigail deVries

Abigail deVries graduated from Grove City College with a Bachelor of Music in MusicEducation. In addition to teaching music in public and private schools, she plays with her church worship team and teaches private cello lessons. She has been playing in weddings for over nine years.
